Ida Tukiainen

I am a psychiatric nurse specialised in mental health and addiction health care. I have experience with diverse patient groups, in both in-patient and out-patient facilities. The age distribution of my patients has varied from young children to the elderly.

I find it important to operate with mutual respect with my patients. Preventive mental health care, as well as sexuality and gender minority (LGBTIAQ+) issues are close to my heart.

For therapy methods I use ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), Cognitive Short Therapy from HUS Terapiat Etulinjaan Project and Cognitive Analytical Short Therapy.

I work with patients over the age of 13 years.
